2. Data Processing and Image Handling (Local Processing)

Text Extractor is built with a privacy-first architecture. All optical character recognition (OCR) functions are executed strictly on your local device hardware.

• No Cloud Transmission: The images you capture or select are never transmitted to external servers, cloud databases, or third-party APIs.
• Zero Data Retention: We do not collect, store, view, or retain the images you process or the text you extract. The data remains entirely within your device's memory during processing and is immediately discarded by the application once the text is rendered.
• No Machine Learning Training: We do not harvest your personal images or extracted text to train external machine learning models.

3. Third-Party Services and Analytics

While the core extraction process is strictly local, the application ecosystem involves standard third-party infrastructure.

• We may use standard, anonymized analytics and crash reporting tools to track application stability and performance bottlenecks. This telemetry data does not contain your images, extracted text, or personally identifiable information.
• If you download our application from the Indus App Store, their respective privacy policies and data collection frameworks also govern your use of their platform.

4. Data Security

Because processing occurs locally, the security of your images and text is inherently tied to the security of your own device. We recommend utilizing strong device passwords and keeping your Android operating system updated to protect your localized data. We implement standard industry practices within the application code to prevent unauthorized internal access, but we cannot guarantee absolute security against device-level breaches or malware.
